Museo Arte e Scienza (MAS) – Milan

Milan, Via Sella 4, from 10 November 2024

Institutional Moment

In November 2024, I had the privilege of exhibiting my works at the Museum of Art and Science (MAS) in Milan, located in Via Quintino Sella 4, a short walk from the Castello Sforzesco. The MAS is an institution that has long been dedicated to exploring the relationship between creativity, knowledge, and cultural heritage — a place where art meets inquiry, and beauty coexists with intellectual curiosity. Presenting my pieces within such a context was both an honor and an opportunity to situate my practice within a broader dialogue that connects the visual arts with history and science.

The atmosphere of the museum added a distinctive layer to the exhibition. Its elegant rooms, filled with echoes of discovery and experimentation, framed the works in an environment that invited reflection and contemplation. Each piece, placed within that architectural and conceptual setting, seemed to acquire new meanings — as if the museum’s identity as a space of study and wonder offered a new lens through which to read contemporary creation. It was fascinating to observe how visitors engaged not only with the artworks but also with the context surrounding them, allowing a subtle conversation to unfold between the past and the present.

Exhibiting at the MAS also carried an institutional significance that goes beyond personal achievement. Being part of a museum’s program means positioning one’s work within a cultural framework that acknowledges its value and potential for dialogue. This kind of recognition strengthens the artist’s path, giving visibility while also encouraging a deeper sense of responsibility — to continue researching, questioning, and refining one’s voice. In an era where art is often confined to fast digital exchanges, showing in an institution devoted to knowledge gives the work a different weight: it situates it in time, within a legacy of meaning and inquiry.

Looking back, the experience at the Museum of Art and Science remains a pivotal moment in my recent journey. It reaffirmed my belief in the power of art to connect disciplines, to cross boundaries, and to speak to diverse audiences. For a few weeks, the MAS became not just a venue but a living environment of encounter — a place where viewers could slow down, engage, and perhaps see the world, and themselves, from a slightly different perspective. I am deeply grateful to the museum, its curators, and everyone who visited and shared this experience, helping transform an exhibition into a dialogue.
